Our Bubba, our Big Daddy, our Cowardly Lion... you'll never know how much you meant to us. From the moment we saw you it was love at first sight; that big beautiful white head, with eyes that begged for our love and attention. You always had such an uncanny insight into your human family and were there for us. When we were sick or upset you were by our side to give us a kiss and let us know everything would be okay. When we would come home from work, you were there to greet us with your stubby tail wagging. And when we brought Lexi home you were there to check on her and protect her as if she was your own. You weren't just our boy, but Allie's soul mate and Thyme's hero and father; both are grieving and longing for you as much, if not more than us. Your beauty and gentle spirit lives on in your children and grandchildren, and for now we can take comfort in knowing that you are still protecting and watching over us from above and letting us know that everything will be okay. So, until that time that we get to see your wagging tail and kiss that beautiful face, know that you will always be our one and only Bubba.
